Welcome to the official G.R.O.A. website

The Grand River Officials' Association (G.R.O.A.) has been providing on and off-ice officials to minor hockey in the Brantford and Brant County area for over 50 years.  The G.R.O.A. currently has over 150 members.

 

The G.R.O.A. currently services the Brantford Minor Hockey Association, the Brantford Church Hockey League, the Brantford Girls' Hockey Association and the Six Nations Minor Hockey Association among others.

Referee's Crease

 

The Referee's Crease is a newsletter produced by the Alliance detailing specific rules and their application in a game situation.  The Referee's Crease is now available on the GROA's website.

Objectives of the G.R.O.A.

  • Improve minor hockey through better officiating

 

  • Encourage co-operation between fellow officials and a hockey-minded public

 

  • Provide an opportunity for individuals interested in officiating and learning the rules of the game of hockey
